Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to comply with greyhound racing industry ethics and to behave with integrity regarding the rules of racing and related protocols. It requires an understanding of the effects of noncompliance on the image of racing and on licensed or registered individuals.The unit applies to all individuals who participate in the greyhound racing industry, including owners, breeders, educators, trainers, assistants and trial track operators.Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements may apply to this unit.
