Learning Outcomes and Application This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to implement and manage trade waste policies and plans.It includes implementing and coordinating monitoring and testing programs, monitoring treatment and discharge, providing advice and guidance to customers, maintaining trade waste records, and gathering and preparing evidence in relation to breaches of statutory regulations. It also includes applying and adhering to relevant legislation, regulations and workplace policies and procedures.This unit applies to those working as leaders who manage the disposal of trade waste. Those undertaking this unit would work autonomously, leading staff, whilst performing sophisticated tasks in a range of familiar contexts. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to unit at the time of publication.

Assessment Tasks
